On our quest to become more eco-friendly, we have started reusing all of our existing plastic bags, taking our existing paper bags back to the stores with us to bring our foods home in, and have purchased reusable cloth bags. I actually like the cloth bags better than standard grocery sacks. They hold more, are sturdier, and are easier to carry. So it's a win-win.
Having said that, yes there is a rub in this post, a bloggy friend of mine has put up a request for votes. Her friend designed a reusable bag for a contest. She can win $1000 if her design is the winning design chosen by Kroger. Hey, another win-win. I actually really liked the design and it would catch my eye if I saw it in the store.
So, go to her blog, check out the bag, and if you like it as much as I did, vote for it. You don't have to give your email address, name, nothing. You just click "vote" and type in the little numbers they give you (for security to make sure it's not a spam program). That's it.
